About me

My name is Cosmin Grozea and I am working in the financial industry for over 10 years.

I discovered my passion for wine a few years ago and I am in a continuous exploration to expand my palate ever since. Over the last years, I had the chance to visit numerous wineries and wine regions in France, Italy, Greece, Spain and Romania, and attended wine fairs in Romania, Italy(Vinitaly) and France(Vinexpo). I organize private and corporate Wine tastings and thematic Wine dinners in Bucharest, Romania. I am an investor in wine and I also structure portfolios of wines as an alternative financial placement for clients. I have numerous sources for purchasing wines  both for investment and for drinking from France, Belgium and Germany, assuring a very competitive acquisition price. I currently work with a list of 9000 bottles of wine with vintages ranging from 1890 up to 2009, mostly French. If you are interested to see the price list please email me. I rate wines based on the International 100 points scale. This blog contains my personal opinions based on my own palate. I am a self educated person in the wine business.
